In today's capitalist world where security is one of the utmost
concerns, the typical problem facing an individual is financial
security. Money-related questions typically asked are: "Where

$47.4 million venture capital funded projects today. $86.4
million yesterday. $51.4 million the day before.
These amounts are not made up. They are actual numbers from
actual reported venture capital funding. I get these notices
emailed to me day after day, rain or shine.
These numbers are a constant reminder to me that companies '
lots of companies ' are getting funded every day.
And these numbers just reflect the reported venture capital
funding. There is probably double that amount from angel...

The Federal Reserve recently raised its target federal funds
rate for the first time since March 2000. This could be just the
tip of the iceberg, though, as many experts believe rising
inflation and a strengthening economy will spur continued rate
hikes for the foreseeable future.
This is bad news for bond investors, since bonds lose value as
interest rates rise. The reason stems from the fact coupon rates
for most bonds are fixed when the bonds are issued. So, as rates
rise and new bonds with ...

Where does one even begin to start when discussing the island
paradise of Hawaii. Perhaps with an inflated Hawaii real estate
market for those considering relocating.
Hawaii
Formed by volcanoes, Hawaii is a collection of islands that feel
like paradise. In fact, the islands continue to grow with active
volcanoes consistently producing new lava flows and adding to
the land mass. Loihi is going to be the newest island, but is
still underwater at this point. If you have a long-term view,
however, ...

Unlike traditional residential real estate mortgages, real
estate investment financing is way more creative and offers more
options than you think. The golden rule in real estate
investment is OPM (Other People's Money).
I have enough money; shouldn't I buy my real estate investment
for cash? No, I absolutely advice against investing large sums
of cash into a single real estate investment. There are two
reasons why not. First, you give away most of your profits by

Interest rates have been at their lowest levels in over 40
years. U.S. consumers have been able to purchase previously
unaffordable homes, cars and other toys. Many have used cheap
home equity loans to remodel, take vacations and pay off credit
cards. Students have taken advantage of the rock-bottom student
loan rates.
But, interest rates look to be headed up. Recently, Alan
Greenspan and the Federal Reserve escalated the Fed funds rate
from 1% to 1.25%. So, what does that mean to you and me?
